A truly global organisation, with offices in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia & Saudi Arabia, allowing them to be at the forefront of global patient safety and GRC movement. In line with their mission, they are looking to recruit a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for providing the platform for mission critical cloud systems to maintain constant uptime, scale seamlessly, and allow for new applications and services to flourish.

The ultimate goal for SREs is to “automate their way out a job.” 


  • Collaborate with development closely to support production applications & the development lifecycle
  • Focus on automating tasks which are time-intensive and repetitive
  • You are responsible for the availability and performance of global platform(s)
  • You embrace new technology and relish the opportunity to learn
  • Build out distributed monitoring systems and ensure good platform visibility
  • Providing on-call support for production platforms across the world
  • Drive documentation and clarity for the broader SRE function
  • Create business-focused tooling to enable the wider business to operate platforms without reliance on engineering
  • You take ownership of the infrastructure – Driving improvements and quality into the platform(s) from an operational perspective

The successful candidate: 

Will be highly ambitious with a passion for excellence, quality and detail. The SRE role should operate under the mentality of “Leaving things better than you found them.”

You will be working across multiple platforms, with SRE’s from different backgrounds and disciplines regularly.

You should be comfortable in migrating platforms into the Cloud with a particular focus on:

  • Costing
  • Architectural improvements
  • Updating compliance & governance documentation 

You will need to be skilled with: 

  • Public Cloud Providers (AWS & Azure preferred)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Config Management Tooling (Ansible & Tower preferred)
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Traditional VM based infrastructure
  • Operating a Microservices Driven Platform

You will need to have a solid understanding of:

  • SQL Server
  • MongoDB
  • Kafka
  • ZooKeeper
  • Prometheus
